San Ho Yan Taiwanese-Style Cuisine
During the Ming-Zheng Era, immigrants embraced their dreams and crossed the turbulent trenches to settle down here. They took the Hokkien architecture and created the Taiwanese style sanheyuan (a central building with two wings attached perpendicular to either side) and thus unfolded a family life that is full of warmth and hospitality. Meanwhile, they also brought over an abundance of diverse tastes to Taiwan, from the rice of the South to the wheat of the North, from the aromatic Hunan cuisine to the spicy Sichuan cuisine… these food features from around various localities are integrated into their daily lives, building Taiwan into a world-famous gourmet paradise.
Sanheyuan, a house with a courtyard that is made up of three sections of living compounds, is the classic visual impression of Taiwan. It consists of three wings at different directions, and accommodates the entire family to live together and care for each other. A welcoming place that is full of human touches and Taiwanese spirit. San Ho Yan retains the warm and delicious tastes of Taiwan, and breaks away from the old restriction of Taiwanese cuisine being “unrefined.” It perfectly reconciled the three elements of fashionable dining, by establishing a series of new innovative standard Taiwanese dishes, quality alcohol beverages, and on top of that, a sincere service.

2014 First brand store Taipei Zhongxiao flagship store opened
2015 Was invited to attend the Milan World Expo in Italy to promote Taiwanese cuisine. Warmly greeted by the deputy mayor of Milan at that time, several members of the parliament and business people, created an upsurge for new Taiwanese cuisine.
2016 Invited by the Tourism Bureau to promote Taiwan tourism and food at Central Station in New York, USA. Hosted a 1500-person gourmet experience on site.
2017 Elected as Quality Shop at the First Taiwan Braised Pork On Rice Festival; was the recommended restaurant at the Taipei 2017 Universiade 2018 Invited by the Department of Information and Tourism,Taipei City Government, to promote Taipei tourism and food in Hong Kong
2018 Was re-elected as Quality Shop again at Braised Pork On Rice Festival 2019 Thanks to the support of countless customers in the past five years. San Ho Yan is advancing into Tokyo, Japan!

"The world must know the beauty of Taiwan!" Ever since I’ve known Kuan from San Ho Yan, I’ve known that the restaurant aims to promote the beauty of Taiwan gourmet to the whole world with this new style of Taiwanese cuisine, and integrating that with the Western wine culture. The San Ho Yan started out with the Zhongxiao flagship store. Presently, there are Dazhi store, Breeze Nanjing store, Taoyuan Gloria Outlet store, Kaohsiung E-da store, Shanghai Huaihai store, and the Italy Milan store which is currently under preparation.
